For the upcoming Fall season, NBC and Bloomingdale’s are teaming up to promote their respective Fall lineups (or lines as the case may be). In light of this new partnership, characters from NBC’s new Fall shows will be featured in Bloomingdale’s catalogs. Also, consumers will be able to use a virtual reality app that “virtually” puts them on the red carpet of an NBC premiere and a portion of NBC’s “Primetime Preview Show” will take place in a Bloomingdale’s store. Both NBC and Bloomingdales have said that this is an equal partnership and they are working together to promote their brands simultaneously.
