Title: Advertising| Site Offers Prizes to Users, Providing Useful Data to Advertisers
Article by: Andrew Adam Newman
Loffles is a site where registered users can chose a prize, watch a series of commercials for a chance to win the prize and answer a couple of questions at the end to make sure they viewed the ad. The idea is that users provide their age, sex and areas of interest and are given ads to watch that match their demographic. It’s valuable to marketers and advertisers, and the viewers have a good amount of incentive to keep coming back. Since the site launched June 27, some users have won $300 worth of pretty good prizes- like Michael Kors sunglasses and Amazon gift cards.
